Ph.D. candidate Linda Su-Feher represented the Nord Lab at the 2017 CSHL Single Cell Analyses meeting, held Nov 8-11, 2017, and presented a poster on single-cell RNA-sequencing in the basal ganglia.

BMCDB graduate student Linda Su-Feher participated in a one week International Student Workshop hosted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology (IGDB), from October 22nd – 28th. Graduate students from UC Davis, IGDB, and Japan’s Nara Institute of Science and Technology converged in Beijing, China, for a week of science, cultural exchanges, dancing, and food.

Alex Nord, Jess Haigh, Ayanna Wade, Linda Su-Feher, Rinaldo Catta-Preta, and Justin Lim attend the annual Molecular Psychiatry Meeting in San Francisco, CA. Posters were presented, followed by much consumption of food.

Diana Quintero presents her poster on assessing enhancer activity of CACNA1C-associated SNPs at the 6th Annual EEOP Poster Symposium. Diana, an undergraduate majoring in Biological Sciences, is part of the Biology Undergraduate Scholars Program at UC Davis.

Ayanna Wade, Neuroscience Ph.D. student, and Andrea Gompers, postdoc, will be presenting posters on their work on a mouse model of Chd8 haploinsufficiency at the 2017 International Meeting for Autism Research in San Francisco, CA.

Alex Nord presents on epigenomic programming of interneuron specification in the mouse at the Control of Neuronal Identity II at Janelia Research Campus.
